Project management is becoming a key pillar for business success in the current fast-moving world. To ensure sufficient flow of the business processes, organizations formulate reliable concepts for project management. Over the years, many organizations have relied on traditional ideas for project production. However, the digitalization in the current world raises the need for evolution of conventional development. One of the critical strategies of evolution is to shift from traditional to agile methodology. Although traditional concepts have provided significant benefits in project management, the method is ineffective in the modern workplace. In particular, the inflexibility in the traditional methodology hinders the compatibility of the concept in the modern industry. The agile methodology qualifies as the most effective practice in the digital world. It focuses on the quality factor and supports software development in today’s industry. The agile methods will contribute towards the organization’s performance if all the projects are effectively implemented.
Various organizations in the modern world are shifting to an agile methodology of project development. The nature of the project influence the choice of the method. Organizations need to make decisions based on the nature of the project. However, the final decision on the direction of project management will come from the organization. Simply put, the organization plays a critical role in implementing all the projects concerning the chosen concept. For effective handling of its projects, the organization should implement reliable, agile methods based on the project. Significantly, the organization should be firm in decision making as the principal controller of the agile methodology. Indeed, the organization should implement all reliable programs and projects. The agile methodology will contribute towards the organization’s performance if all the projects are effectively implemented.
