Females engage in crimes for different reasons as compared to their male counterparts
Females engage in crimes for different reasons as compared to their male counterparts. Most males have been incarcerated to engaging in violent behaviors as opposed to females. Most females often find themselves jailed for committing social order crimes and misdemeanors, for instance, prostitution, shoplifting, and drug-related crimes. On the other hand, males engage in serious and violent crimes. The ladies who are behind bars need a lot of requirements to ensure their basic needs are met. However, offering different treatments in the judicial system can lead to chaos. The law does not identify a better crime and a worse crime. Therefore, justice system treatment should be the same for all inmates. However, there are special needs which the women should get. For instance, better sanitation and healthcare, especially for pregnant women. Offering different justice system treatment will also cause them to engage in various sorts of criminal activities.
