FIRST STORY DRAFT
This story makes me feel sorry for sunshine since the only person she trusted to be her father figure betrayed all her trust in her young tender age. I think the uncle was under alcoholic influence and could not think straight. I also feel it would have been the best idea for sunshine to report the matter to her mother, who would have taken her for counseling.
In this story of sunshine, I could pick some positive feedbacks. She really loved her uncle. She trusted him so much, and that is why she went to hug him. She allowed him to enter her room since his uncle was a father figure to him. The whisper of I love you words from her uncle was even sweet words everyone could enjoy. Sunshine also was strong enough to fight this battle alone. She managed to battle loneliness alone, and violation without talking about it to anyone, not even to her mother, who I feel could have helped her. She still manages to join college and continue with her education. Her behavior changed, and she could not trust anyone. She met a male friend who was serious about introducing her to his parents. She was strong enough to reject the proposal and even went ahead to open up to what happened to her in fifteen years. Her male friend made it clear to her that he will accept her for who she is.
In my honest opinion, I feel that the sunshine did not deserve the suffering she underwent since she was young. She also needed to open up to someone who could have helped her as her mother, but she kept quiet. She did not have to revenge by engaging in a relationship with so many people.
