Forming GameRush, Inc.

The three of us were excellent friends before we went to college. After graduating, everyone has their internal responsibilities and needs money to carry on with their lives. Now, Alice comes up with the idea of forming LLC, which used in creating video games in both the type of a product and services. The four in the group, Joan, David, Albert, and Alice, have agreed to the adventure. They are ready to start a new company, but I feel like some points about actual inspection are not fully understood. Psychological theory and research, use results of another company that is unethical and might affect the running of the company (Tokunaga, 1993). Otherwise, the idea of progress and making the games addictive was a great idea.

If this process launched, focusing on the idea of Game Day that brings them to achieving their aims and gives their games to advertisers, the exact impacts of the action seen. In my view, it is unethical to go ahead and create GameRush with the idea of stealing ideas from GameDay. Going forward and beginning the process of creating GameRush, focusing on how GameDay was able to achieve its goals, might be a bit challenging (Eiser, 1990). If some other companies get the idea that our marketing strategies on making the games addictive came from another company, then credibility is lost in the competitive market. Funding the company would be difficult if GameRush does not facilitate outside advertisers. No income generation leads to my inability to paying for my kid’s private school.

Acquiring ideas from GameDay is not a bad idea, but done correctly to avoid loss of the business. The knowledge gained before imitating another company is essential to establish your own company. Successful companies such as GameDay makes us think that by creating a similar company to it will earn us a lot of income, forgetting the ethical issues (Donaldson, 1983). For example, Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook, stole the idea from Orkut. Facebook was launched with more improved plans hence taking away the fame of Orkut (Traud, 2012). The purpose of getting ideas from an already successful company should be done smartly to achieve the targeted goals.

The idea of creating games and making them addicted to the community is a great idea that needs wise decision making before venturing into the business. Firstly, consider the ethical issues resulting from acquiring information from the concept of GameDay (Donaldson, 1983). Secondly, what would be the effect of GameDay after realizing that another company, named GameRush has the same ideas as theirs? For a business to be successful, it is essential to have the following; the mission statement of the company, the products or services offered, business niche, finding prospects, how to market, and how to deal with competitors. No matter how small or big the mission statement of a company is, you should try and make it workable and easy to achieve the main goals.

Before creating GameRush, we need to perform a SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats) analysis. This analysis used to check on the ideas that are working or not. Strengths involve what the company is good at. A lot more emphasis is put on the strengths of the company to build and grow. Weaknesses are the internal factors that damage the company. The company should think of changing the strategy of doing things in case the company has a lot of shortcomings. Opportunities are factors from the outside that represent an excellent course for the future. The company should try and invest in opportunities to remain in business. Finally, threats are external factors that are potential damage to the company. An example of risks is competition from other companies. To deal with threats, you should identify the areas that are affected by setting goals that will reduce the potential harm (Hill, 1997).

GameDay is an already existing threat to GameRush. Although acquiring ideas from GameDay would bring up the business, you should consider the competition the company would face from the existing market. Using a workable Marketing strategy is very important to maintain cash flow to the company (Webster, 1984). For GameRush to be addictive to the community, a lot of advertisements done and in a more improved way as compared to how GameDay does. We should be able to trace the amount of money coming in and going out of the company. This shows whether profit or losses are made, and expenses met at the end of every financial year.

For every business to be successful, you should believe in the potential you have, and you will achieve the set goals. Doubting the abilities of a person will affect the business negatively. The firm also needs determination, perseverance, and a positive mindset to build and grow. A company should have the willingness to start small and have a mindset of productivity to achieve the desired goals. According to the analysis done, most businesses fail to continue due to a lack of perseverance and determination. Small incomes mostly affect companies hence end up quitting the business. If GameRush is willing to develop on its own without acquiring ideas from GameDay, then it’s a great idea. GameRush should focus on more improved marketing strategies to make an impact on the people.
