In August 2019, the Singapore Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) introduced the Electronic Arrival Card to replace the traditional paper Disembarkation / Embarkation Card (DE Card) for any travel to Singapore.

Key Instructions
- You can apply for an electronic arrival card up to 14 days before your arrival in Singapore.
- Instead of the traditional paper Disembarkation / Embarkation Card (DE Card), travelers are now able to show only their passport for the Immigration Officer to find the electronic arrival card in the Singapore immigration system.
- This arrival card has the purpose of facilitating entry to Singapore, but it does not replace a visa. If you are not from a visa-exempted country, the Singapore immigration officers at the airport will ask you to show your visa. Remember that some nationalities require a paper visa. If that is the case for you, we suggest you visit the nearest embassy.
- You may only use the electronic arrival card if you are entering through one of the 19 selected transportation carriers.
- Travelers must have a passport with at least 6 months of validity from the intended date of entry.
