Health Assessment, Health History, and Nursing Diagnosis
The patient, in this case, has been suffering from the illness for some time. Other than that, he has also been experiencing shortness of breath, and at times, he feels the body is tired. From this case, it is evident that the patient has been ignoring such symptoms, but then they became severe and led to a panic attack (Chris, 2009). Other than that, he says he has so far never had any surgery. His family lineage has got only one person who has cancer. The patient has been thinking so much about his condition and that of his brother.
In the laboratory report, it was written that FPG-5.6 MMOL/L- NORMAL. This means that fasting plasma glucose is normal and that the sugar levels are proper. The body had to be tested for sugar levels, as this at times leads to the higher blood pressure that the patient had. Secondly, -1.0 mg/L (Low risk) was also in the laboratory report (Chris, 2009). This means that cardiovascular diseases were so low and that the patient was not suffering from any cardiovascular disease. In most cases, this is usually tested for those with breathing problems like in this case.
The weight of the person was 75 Kilograms. He was 1.3 meters tall and had a scar on his back. The temperature of the patient was at 36.5 degrees. He was of 34 years (Henderson, 2010). The diagnosis, in this case, is that the patient has physically impaired mobility that is related to muscles and is evidenced by the pain in the back (Chris, 2009). Other than that, he has acute pain related to tissues of the body and is evidenced by his statement where he says he feels some discomfort when in bed.
