Hello Sai Krishna Uppugandla
There are various components or elements which need to be considered in the development of project schedules. The first essential thing is getting the milestone right. Project milestones are the satellite view of any activities of any project as well as the foundation of the project. All the subsequent tasks, as well as the relationships defined in a project, are the reflection of the initial milestones defined, therefore emphasizing the careful thinking of the milestones (Krähmer and Strausz, 2011). The second element is the definition of the tasks to the right level. In this case, the granularity of the activities in a milestone needs to be such that the separate functions can be assigned to a resource; the task is simple to track as well as an estimate. The third thing is the alignment of resources. This is achievable through the use of a project organization chart I place. It is also essential to understand the roles of every team member. Mastering the dependencies is the fourth element where all tasks in a project schedule need to be connected either directly or indirectly to each other (Heravi, Coffey and Trigunarsyah, 2015). Finally, it is advisable not to fiddle with the activities’ dates; once you have the activities, dependencies, estimates in place; your project schedule will provide you dates basis these elements.
