Hemp oil
Hemp oil is rich in omega-6 and omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids. It is the only edible oil that contains more than 80% polyunsaturated essential fatty acids. Linoleic acid (LA) and linolenic acid (LNA) are found in a ratio of 3: 1, which is widely regarded by nutritionists as the optimal ratio.
Another advantage of oil hemp seed is high levels of vitamin E. On average, 100 grams of hemp seed oil contains 100-150 mg of vitamin E . In case you didn’t know, this vitamin is known for its antioxidant properties. The cosmetic industry continues to rave about the anti-ageing properties of this natural nutrient common to cannabis and hemp. Additionally, it is quite common for people to create their own CBD tinctures with hemp seed oil. But hemp oil alone does not contain CBD or other cannabinoids.
The seeds used for oil extraction come from the selected hemp varieties. Even if the hemp plant is from the Cannabaceae family, cultivated hemp oil does not contain any psychotropic substance. It consists of 56% omega three and omega six, which are essential fatty acids. The latter has the role of reconstructing the epidermal lipids and restoring the fluidity of the membranes. These fatty acids also restore softness, elasticity to the skin and fight against dehydration. The fats in hemp seeds have a high percentage of unsaturated fatty acid which is genuinely essential for metabolism. Besides, hemp seed is one of the only seeds that contains stearidonic acid: it reacts five times more than omega 3, to accentuate the reconstruction of cell membranes.
CBD stands for cannabidiol. It is one of the 104 active substances present in the cannabis plant. CBD belongs to the group of cannabinoids as a substance. THC is another known substance. You probably know it as the stuff that puts you in a battered state.
Unlike THC, CBD does not lead to a change of consciousness. The stuff doesn’t get you high. CBD has other qualities, and one of them is explained below.
Thanks to research carried out in the 1990s, and scientists know a lot more about CBD. During these studies, they discovered that our body produces cannabinoids, just like the cannabis plant. We have found that these natural cannabinoids play an essential role in our bodies. The endocannabinoid system provides them, and this system regulates several crucial bodily functions.
