How Technology Has Impacted Societies
Over the years, technology has bring in sudden changes to our world and daily lives. Technology has created a wonder of tools and resources, putting useful information at our fingertips. The modern technology has continued to increase adoption of multifunctional devices like smartphones and smart watches, consequently computers are increasingly faster, more portable and higher powered than ever. With all this aspects of technology advancements taking place a lot has emerged with the idea of changing the people’s lives to become easier, faster, better and full of fun.
I would like to start with how technology advancements provides quick ways to communicate through instant messages and social media platforms. The use of such avenues in our homes have enabled elders to keep in touch with their loved ones from different places and positions. Also caregivers have new avenues to check in and offer quick response on aging parents or patients.
In the recent decades technology has given us new devices such as electronic devices, tablets and voice assistant devices .using the devices we can purchase items with instant transfer money payments on food deliveries, groceries, furniture and more. In addition technology has changed how we entertain ourselves, meet each other and consume various types of media for instance the songs we listen and videos we watch are from you tube app downloads and more. Self-entertaining video games now forms another diversification of how technology has been enhanced in our lives. Furthermore nowadays one can easily access transport via the Uber drives apps making transport to be convenient and cheaper.
We can’t deny how technology has impacted the security and entirely the safety of us all .use of technology, has been adopted with the security teams to sensitize and strengthen the networks of their communication lines and as well build robust ammunition to fight against insecurity such as global terrorism attacks which have been a problem. The idea is evident by introduction of drowns camera devices that can spies at longer distance and submit relevant information to be used by the troops.
Another use of technology today is in the areas of research as students and other activists are able to conduct their research without too much straining, done using goggle websites, e-books and more. Also businesses can easily make research using modern ways on their customer’s preference while conducting customer’s online surveys and other cases which can be relied to provide useful information. Besides, customers can access the products and services online which results to increase of sales margin by business personnel.
In conclusion man cannot be separated from the use of technology it forms the day to day part of our lives. We find it true to say that the future is in the hands of technology which transforms our lives in various unbelievable ways.
