Furthermore, between the age groups of 65 to 69 and 70 to 74 years, the dementia incidences are expected to rise from 2010 to 2020 and then reduce from 2025 to 2040. Additionally, it is predicted that dementia incidences for people in the age groups 75 to 79 and 80 to 84 are expected to rise from 2010 to 2030.
Also, dementia incidences are expected to reach around 0.65, 0.75, 0.85, 1.0, 1.1, and 1.2 million cases from years 2010, 2015, 2020, 2025, 2030, and 2040 respectively. Lastly, in 2040, the dementia incidences in England and Wales are expected to rise exponentially with age from 55 years to 100years.
