America Staffing consultants (ASC) is a constancy agency that provides jobs for clients in America and internationally. Started in 2014, ASC has successfully secured jobs for clients in America, North Korea, China, the Middle East, and Europe. We specialize in jobs such as Engineering, sales, marketing, Information Technology, Teaching, Security services, Architecture, Human resource management, Construction, and Finance jobs. ASC connects persons seeking jobs to potential employers. Our organization has, with time, earned trust among employers and is so far leading at providing career jobs to Americans. America’s unemployment statistics in October 2019 show that 3.6% of the Americas are unemployed (Cao et al. 2018). The mission of our agency to try and reduce this number to 1% by providing jobs to Americans globally.

ASC provides several services to employers regarding hiring or recruiting staff members. First, ASC advertises jobs on behalf of employers and receives applications on behalf of the employer. Once we have received requests, we conduct interviews as guided by the employer. During the meetings for check for qualities and skills as advice by the employer. The most common skills asked by most international employers is to check for eloquence in the foreign language where applicable. Therefore, in such cases, the candidates must have at least verbal and written skills of the employer’s language of choice.  After interviews, we select the best-suited applicant(s) and recommend them to our employer partner. ASC also has specialists in career advice, who offer career adv ices to students and high school graduates who would wish to join college and to workers who would like a career change. Besides, we offer training of up to two weeks on conduct in foreign states, including the law of foreign countries.

ASC has partnered with Offices in North and South America and across the globe. The partners inform ASC of job vacancies in their companies then ASC does the adverts in America for Americans to apply. We partner with partners in the same professions as hose we offer at ASC.  Besides, ASC is registered under NPA worldwide, and Top Echelon, which is two of the largest network of employment agencies in America and internationally (ISC, INC 2020). Our partnerships are a crucial factor and a stronghold for our business; they provide us with unique opportunities for recruitment across America, Canada, Mexico, Dubai, China, and Europe. ASC maximizes the opportunities offered by our partners to provide the best workforce made a thorough selection of clients. ASC makes work easier for both the employers and the job- seekers.

Our services exclude, salary bargain for workers, ASC advertises jobs as they sent from employers and the salaries will be as advertised by the employer. Any changes to remunerations and wages are left to be a discussion between the candidate and the employer. ASC does not also facilitate the acquisition of travel documents and Legal requirements for traveling, such as Passport, social service number, and police department clearances. Also, ASC does not offer insurance to clients. Clients must obtain a personal insurance cover if they so wish. Our employee-partners provide travel fees and accommodation for clients.

 

Marketing Strategy.

ASC Marketing strategy is mostly centered on Social media. ASC utilizes platforms such as Linked-in, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and googles ads to advertise our jobs. For the partners, ASC has a website where our partners can reach us. We also contact our partners directly through visits to their offices to sell our services. Our clientele base can reach us through the client’s website for applications or submit hardcopy applications to our physical offices in California.

Another marketing strategy is through print media. Newspapers have comprehensive coverage of the states. We invest in a section of a page once a week to advertise the available job opportunities presented to us by our partners. Besides, we use printed leaflets that we supply in different offices to market our services. Our adverts are made simple, targeting the youth and young adults ranging from Twenty-two years old to thirty-five years. Such words are meant to entice the young generations struggling to find a job to come to our agency (Sukarsono 2017). Our adverts present a solution giving agency that is dedicated to offering employment to Americans regardless of race or place of Origin.

A critical incident that occurred while doing business

 In 2014 when ASC started, the agency offered jobs in the hotel industry, Private security, house helps, gardeners, and masonry. The original name of the firm was Middle East Recruitment Agency.  Generally, the jobs offered at Middle East Recruitment Agency were less technical and more manual. This was a nice platform to start our clientele base. We had partners in the Middle East, including Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, and Pakistan. The Middle East was the first base we had for employers. Our agency had not put into consideration the poor managerial and work ethics of Saudi that year and previous years (Ali & Shakis 1985).

In January 2014, We sent clients to Saudi Arabia. Among the clients were eight females and twelve men. All were going to serve different employers at different positions and in different cities. When our clients had lived in Saudi Arabia for six months, we received a disturbing video from family members of one of the female clients. The video showed A lady, who we later proved that was one of our clients send to Saudi Arabia in January 2014, undergoing torture. The Arab man in the video flogged her, and she was blood-stained, indicating that she had endured suffering for a long time.

ASC reported the issue to American authorities for investigation and for Justice to be done. A message was also sent to the USA’s mission in Saudi Arabia for the girl to be taken in America’s custody. Investigations ended in four days, and the girl was rescued and put on the first flight back to John F Kennedy Airport the same day. The incident was a major blow to my business. Several other similar cases were reported the same year from Saudi Arabia. Clients Lost faith in ASC, and the Consultancy Firm was almost closed. That incident prompted us to change the business structure and our marketing strategy to regain trust among clients.

How I Survived The incidence

The best way to survive such an incidence is through remodeling (Saint-Martin 2005). ASC remodeled its business base and changed the name from Middle East Recruitment Agency to ASC. The business remodeling was accompanied by scrapping off of partners from Saudi Arabia. ASC developed a system where partners are also vetted to check eligibility. We also keep a record of the specific workplace our clients are live. We further changed the professions we hire from manual jobs to more technical jobs like the ones mentioned earlier in this paper.

Since then, ASC has enjoyed a more convenient partner base from all over the world. The firm slowly gained trust among clients. It is necessary to know the history of your partners, their mission, and values before cutting them a deal (Hawkins & Mothersbaugh. 2010). Right now, ASC is among the leading staffing consultancy firms in the USA. Our clients are happy in their professions, and we’ve since received mostly positive feedback from both our partners and clients.  ASC business survived the incidence and rose back stronger than ever before.

In conclusion, the Consultation business may appear to be smooth and straightforward to run and operate. ASC was a young company, barely a startup when the tragedy of client torturing happened. Some partners failed to honor the standards of ASC of protecting our clients. But from the incident, ASC learned and remodeled its business structure to match the qualities most clients would require. ASC has since been providing technical job opportunities for college and university graduates all over the world. ASC has improved its outreach to clients through a marketing strategy that involves the use of social media platforms including, Linked-in, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Other Marketing strategies employed by ASC include; newspapers and printed leaflets that are suppliant to different office receptions where they may get the attention of job-seeking clients. The improvements and remodeling of the business have gone a long way into ensuring an improved client base, more trust among clients, and trust among partners (Peter & Grunerte 1999).
