In chapter 3, Peterson and colleagues exemplify that individuals can change their mind through vicarious living. Also, the authors stipulate that that other people can influence a person in changing a key personal decision. The authors use radio shows, especially in developing countries. The radio shows are utilized by the novel centers to outline the problems caused by illiteracy in Mexico. The authors show how Most Mexicans have radios; hence an influencer created a day time program soap opera on a certain young man’s life. I think that the chapter clearly outlines the vicarious model can be used to change the mind caused by individual behavior. The influence tool is accessible to most parents, and community leaders hence must be utilized to bring change (Patterson et al., 2013). I liked the fact that change helps an individual alter specific behaviors to foster personal productivity and effectiveness while articulating issues. Besides, it was interesting to understand that being an influencer is a continuous process that requires a person to set clear and measurable goals. Thus, an influencer undergoes a learning process that builds personal capability in articulating for change. The reading material brought up life experiences while interacting with people in dire need of change. The interaction requires an individual to use high intellectual skills to articulate their concerns with utmost regards (Patterson et al., 2013). Also, life experiences requiring that required great passion for achieving change have been evoked by the reading. Peterson and colleagues outline the need to achieve the change required to change behavior passionately.

Part IV
I will try to improve on my time management to meet all my obligations within the required timeframes. As such, I will create a time audit to outline the things I spend most of my time with. A time audit will help me eliminate unnecessary things that I spend most of my time, replacing them with valuable activities. Also, I would set time limits for every undertaken task to manage my time effectively. Setting time limits would prevent instances of procrastination and distraction by unnecessary things. Finally, I would spearhead to plan ahead and ensure that every activity is carried out as stipulated.
