Japan is a powerful country
Question 1
Japan is a powerful country because I have a powerful economy where it has not shows its presence in domains of global security since the post-second world war era (Reischauer, 2020). On the other hand, Japan is not a powerful country since it has a weak military that could not fight the powerful United States ships.

Groupthink
When formulating a rational foreign policy decision making there is a team member who always tried controlling the contribution of other team members, which made it difficult to get an opinion in edgewise; hence if one had an opinion, they would give up (Wallace, 2019). Hence, one did not have the platform of venting out their opinions.
Cognitive bias
An example of cognitive bias is where their previous expectation or experience shapes foreign thinking that they had after the formulation of foreign policy decision making. This can lead to a repeat of the same problems in the future in foreign policy designs.
Question 3
I think that NGOs have become more important for the last 20 years because they are more efficient and flexible in making decisions as compared to the government since they are smaller. Further, they have low service delivery costs, and mostly, they focus on working closely with the marginalized populations were they encourage their direct participation (Cordery et al., 2018). NGOs’ importance has increased since they serve different functions in society. This is because they are not limited to nay environmental, social as well as human right works. They help in the promotion of social and political changes, both locally and internationally. They also play a vital role in the development of society, improvement of communities, and the promotion of citizen participation.
Question 4
I think that Immanuel Kant would not be happy with how the work has implemented his ideas. First, Immanuel Kant believed that God created human beings to understand the world perfectly. However, his view has been challenged by the rise of modern science. Further, most of Kant’s ideas are outdated and are not being used to make the world a better place. He had the belief that there were differences that existed between the people, which was innate (Paulsen, 2017). Through his racial science, the world used them in coming up with arguments leading to the establishment of the pseudo-scientific basis of racism. This has been used in justification of colonial oppression and genocide. Hence, if Immanuel Kart were alive today, he would not be happy how the world has negatively used his ideas for actions against the human race.
Question 5
Morality is essential in politics since they help in the building of a good relationship in politicians’ lives, which makes them have the passion of doing what is right and distinguishing what is bad for society (Cotterrell, 2017). Morality makes politics be directed from the interest of the citizen. They ensure that one does not just focus on their own needs and interest. On the other hand, morality can drag the revolution behind if one has always to consider what is right and what is wrong. As the saying goes, politics is a dirty game; hence morality is sometimes viewed problem.
Question 6
Mexico should have a national story that must be inspirational and inclusive. The second idea is that the nation should know how to tell the story, which is demanded in becoming a soft power nation (Keating & Kaczmarska, 2019). Lastly, Mexico should emphasize on how and when to mix different available tools.
