Correction:
Judicial Precedent
Judiciary is a very important arm of Government:
When they interpret laws, they apply these as case law that means that they make laws as well during judgment that becomes a norm for future reference. For example, the Supreme Court has powers over Congress, and Federal State and what they rule affects these and becomes laws.
Cyber Crime and Terrorism
This did not come out in the Essay but are very important in the protection of individuals against intrusion. There is a policy in place against cyber-crime and terrorism that has to be relooked to increase efficiency. Terrorism is a major challenge from the 20th Century and has continued to be a threat to humankind. There has to be a policy framework that deals with the origin and way of eradication and upholding the moral and value fabric of individuals.
Trade and Innovation:
This has to be incorporated as the United States has made great strides in Trade. Being the largest economy in the world, the US has to have a policy so that there is severe punishment of copyright infringement and laws to discourage theft of copyright.
There should be laws or acts to look into foreign policy so that they are not abused by the executive.
Immigration Policy
There still are major challenges in Immigration; this has resulted in destitution, discrimination, and terrorism. The Government needs to amend laws so that everyone is accommodated and tolerated for the common good of everyone.
Right to Vote and Join Military
The written law only addresses the right to vote as Native Americans, excluding blacks. With proper legislation, this can be codified such that the right is extended to immigrants who are eligible to vote and join the Military.
Having reviewed the facts above;
This must become a national conversation with a way to have a win for the Government and its people. Because these three arms of Government derive their powers from the people, the newly written law should be subjected to a referendum for people to decide their fate and surrender their sovereignty to the Constitution by the vote.
