It affects both the young and the adults since each relationship partners are employing a different method of taking control of the relationship.
Partners employ different strategies such as sex, economic, psychologic, and behave to take control in relationships — partners to take control using the weak point to manipulate the other one to do what they want. The issues of intimate partner violence are not reported to the authorities despite a high level of awareness. Many victims fear discrimination against reporting the cases of intimate partner violence (MatthewsHartwell).
It is not clear what the main issues are causing intimate partner violence among the partners. The article has not further explained what main areas of controversies in a relationship are. Intimate partner violence is essential for my primary health science because on a daily basis; I will be dealing with victims and perpetrators of intimate are violence. I have to offer guidance and counseling to both and the treatment of those who are injured.
To ensure that intimate partner violence is the address, we need to encourage freedom in relationships. All partners should have respect for the privacy and decision of the other. The partners should not entirely depend on other to avoid the cases of excessive control since it’s harmful.
