Living in Dorms is the better option for a student in a university for various reasons compared to living off-campus. Living in dorms is cheaper than living off-campus such that the rent money in the campus dorms are much fewer than the rent paid off-campus. Food sold in campus mess is reasonable too and affordable to the lifestyle of most students.
