Memoir
Have you ever looked back at your life and realized that you are not in the same place as you were five or even fifteen years ago? I express this intending to go further than just the physical realm. For none of us are in the same place physically, mentally, or emotionally. This is for a good reason. A few people are so essential in making us, what our identity is, that without them, our very personality would be changed. When thinking about all the people in my life that has shaped, expanded, and influenced my worldview, the most influential has been my strong mom, Mildred. She is not only my mother but also my best friend and one who has made many impacts on my life that have somehow changed how I see society and my general surroundings. My mother, Mildred, is a very affectionate, respectable, kind, generous, and cheerful woman who lived in Micronesia Island and raised three kids. She is the crucial figure in my life who has left a permanent impact on me. She is an incredible lady of influence to me as a result of her steadiness, her hard-working attitude, and her autonomous soul. I much acknowledge her because I have served independently in the Army for more than fourteen years now.
To begin, some of the main components that she would educate me about that helps to influence my worldview are God, Human Nature, and Ethics. These she thought would be essential to help me in how I view the world on the whole. She would always tell us that these topics would help to mold our thoughts and our experiences, and would educate us in making life decisions in time to come. A tremendous sense of ethics is the most substantial aspect of my worldview that came with a better understanding of my mother. This helps me to guide my decisions and actions every day. Morals she would advise me establishes the framework of an individual’s character. She accepts that an individual with a great personality will have solid virtues that will assist them in making moral decisions in their lives. Therefore, I can bravely say that my moral values have been learned from my mother’s influence throughout my life and will help me work independently in serving the Army.
