As discussed in the introductory part, several methods are applicable to investigate food security. In this research, a survey method will be utilized in the investigation. The responses given by various organizations dealing with food security will be used for the analysis of the levels at which food security is a threat to the world. Data will be collected from the data analysts in the World Food Summit who have been keeping data on the undernourishment status of the society. The head of the data analysis department in the WFS will be sending a mail with few questions to answer, which will be presented under the appendices. These questions will require him/her to attach copies of the undernourishment status report or randomly selected countries globally.

Further, there will be a need for the responded to attach a summary of the food distribution in the selected nations. This data, upon receipt, will be analyzed using the SPSS software, where we will generate the undernourishment curve in the countries. The advantage of using SPSS software instead of commonly used Microsoft Excel sheets is that, in SPSS software, it is easier to generate toe coefficient covariance and to mark the error scale than in the MS EXCEL datasheet. Besides, SPSS is commonly used in deducing x-y axis graphs.?

The Millennium Declaration (MD) manager will also be emailed with questions to fill in. The email will include items on the hunger and poverty status of the nations. The MD will also give information on how poverty and hunger relate, from which we will generate a curve on the relationship between food and hunger. This data will be sued to compare how hunger, undernourishment, and poverty are relating to each other. Further, we will get details on the number of people below the lowest level of diet energy needed. Under this, we will conclude on the food security level in randomly selected nations across the world.  Besides, the number of people below the required dietary levels is research is conducted on each country from which the data is sent to the MD for analysis. Thus it will be easier to get the data.

We will develop a probability distribution curve of the trends of DEC (Dietary Energy Consumption) from the randomly selected nations’ data. Further, a probability distribution cure of the optimum point of diet uptake will be developed too. This will help in sourcing for the estimated prevalence of the undernourished people in the society. (SoFI) State of food security and nutrition in the world will also be approached for data on the levels of food security globally. Data on food and nutrition level globally will be gained as a result. In this department, we will collect data on the safety of food across the world. Data on food distribution, based on the nutritional concentration, will be conducted based on continents. The seven continents data will be collected and used for analysis on which continent is having adequate nutrients circulation for their people. This will help in identifying which continent is highly concentrated in given nutrition. As a result, the data will help advice each continent on where to get the nutrients that are not sufficient for their people. As a result, the undernourishment problem will have been solved.

Since foods are perishable and can be poisonous for human consumption when spoiled, the research will investigate the condition of foods in the market across the world. This will include data collection of food scientists in the food science laboratories on the safety of foods produced in the nations for the nation’s consumption and experts. This will cut across the food security officers at the entry and exit points of the import and export centers respectively. Also, those organizations standardizing the quantity and quality of food processing n randomly selected nations will be conducted to give a report on how satisfying the companies are with regards to nutrients levels. This data will be vital as it will show the levels at which we have secure foods in the market for human consumption. The levels of aflatoxin in foods in the market will be investigated. As a result, thus helping the world find a solution to minimize aflatoxin distribution globally. As a result, the food poisoning problem will have been solved. Further, the data will develop information on the nations or continents with adequate food security policies that are followed to the latter.

The research will also utilize the geographers to gather data on the effects of climatic conditions and climatic changes to food security. They will give information on how adequate we have foods in the market as they show the foods that are inadequately produced. With their knowledge in the interpretation of geographical positioning effects on food security, they will help gather data on why some nations have challenges in ensuring food security for their people. Also, the population of a continent affects food security. These geographer’s information will be sued to analyze the effects of population on the food security status of the world. Tables will be used to present the data under the results with adequate graphs being used to for analysis.
