My enthrallment with business-related subjects

My enthrallment with business-related subjects encouraged me to build my career in management consulting that is an extraordinarily fast-paced and highly-rewarding path. Consulting provides exceptional opportunities to work with executives & collaboration with talented people, exposure to different sectors, constant learning and skill enhancement, a quick career-progression, and travelling to new places. The idea itself is thrilling to be in a position to help the leadership of an organization, engaging with the C-suite level executives and working on solving the most critical & intellectual challenges and make the crucial decisions. Enchanted with the business spectrum, possessing a substantial work experience in management consulting and having an academic background in management, I desire to pursue my MBA in the UK.

After completion of Bachelor’s in Commerce, I pursued MBA Finance from Alesco Business School, Rohtak University. The program provided me theoretical and practical knowledge in investment strategies, securities and portfolio management, mergers & acquisition, insurance and corporate risks, direct & indirect taxations as well as insights into local and global economies.

The program opened a brilliant opportunity to work as Finance Executive in IServeU Technology Pvt Ltd from Sep’ 2011 to May’ 2014. My job responsibilities were to liaison with banks for their products catering the customer-requirements, cross-selling of products, handling customer relations, ensuring timely deliveries by the suppliers to vendors etc. This job provided me exposure in SAP technology, and hence with increased interest, I took training keeping me updated and applied for the job of SAP – Junior FICO Consultant in Constaccent Private Limited and worked there from June’ 2014 to June’ 2016. The company bestowed me with the opportunity to work on a project for Mumbai-based pharmaceutical company involving me in providing the support to the end users, co-ordinating with clients for their requirements and solutions, training depot employees to get hands on SAP System as well as to work on another project for implementing Sap for a pharmaceutical company established in Goa.

Gaining extensive experience, I joined Novelerp Solutions Pvt. Ltd as SAP FICO – Associate Consultant and worked on the support projects and resolved issues related to automatic payment program and integration as well as worked on configuration and testing enterprise structure settings, automated payment program, foreign currency valuation, terms of payments for customers, validation and substitution rules and implementation of the new file structure. In Aug’2017, another career-advancing opportunity from Deloitte India Consulting Private Ltd. knocked on my door, and I immediately grabbed that. In addition to working with Novelerp Solutions I started working with Deloitte in the position of SAP FICO – Business Technology Analyst that provided me to work on the SAP implementation projects in an American multinational energy corporation as well as an American healthcare company. In all, my experience in the field of SAP Consulting has given me the exposure to understand the changing businesses, their challenges and the need to keep them streamlined not just with the needs of the consumers but also technologically.

Working in my current organization has given me the exposure to work with people of the diverse field and encouraged me to further pursuing my passion for Consulting and delivering the best possible solution not just with the SAP but integrating it with other technologies to get the optimum results. However, working there made me realize that with the booming tech and digital developments, the business landscape is changing rapidly and to sustain & grow in this competitive environment, the companies need to focus upon new strategies, new methodological approaches and new initiatives. In the light of the changing scenario, the management consultants need to demonstrate the improved managerial effectiveness and competitive strength combined with leadership skills empowering the business to achieve their maximum potential. I understood the importance of gaining professional knowledge and skills to analyse the solid facts and research to address the problems of management with improved management methods. Additional expertise is required to work in with intelligent team-mates with excellent leadership skills to complete the projects successfully helping the company to emerge as a Star with high-market share. To achieve my objective, it is imperative to plan and manage the projects appropriately based on in-depth communication and profound analysis of the business requirement. I strongly believe that I need a more sophisticated and broader knowledge.
