My personal and professional goals
My personal and professional goals interconnect as a quality assurance officer (QAO). On the career forefront. As a QAO, I can interact with more people at a professional and a personal level, which is thrilling and enticing. What I love most about a QAO is the ability to find diversity in the day to day activities through interaction, management, and supervision of people and the use of technology. The role forces me to display leadership and networking qualities. I am happy that I have gotten a chance to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance and Management at the University College Dublin. I believe the course will assist me in enhancing my ability to interact well with others.
Obtaining a GOI-IES scholarship gives me the opportunity of studying abroad in an advanced and well-structured education system, thus allowing me to get a better education than what I could get in universities in my home country. Besides, the GOI-IES scholarship will ease the burden of having to take student loans and other education financings for my education. Thus, allowing me the ability to study in a stress-less. Therefore, maximizing on my campus experience. As a result, I will be able to enhance my productivity by engaging in cross-culture activities, volunteering opportunities, and internship rather than looking for part-time jobs to supplement my income in debt management. As a GOI IES Scholar, I will provide a different perspective on education in various fields and how to enhance the provision of quality education to my people without a discriminatory approach due to the experiences I acquire while in Dublin.
The GOI-IES scholarship enables me to pursue my desired course without compromising on the quality of education and study facilities. As such, I can thoroughly study and contribute to the surrounding community. The first important part is communicating with an immigrant on how to assimilate themselves with the Irish people. As an immigrant myself and through the help of the GOI-IES scholarship, I am in a position to advise newer individuals coming into Ireland, the importance of integrating themselves to the surrounding communities. Besides, I will actively participate in volunteer activities. I have a keen interest in interacting and assisting old age people in caregiving homes. Due to the leniency on the financial burden I acquire from getting the GOI-IES scholarship, I will use my time volunteering with the local community to assist caregiver homes and other needy persons in and around Dublin. Besides, this also allows me to understand the Irish culture and language from people with much more experience.
Ireland is my chosen country due to the long history it has. I desire to explore Irish culture professionally by seeking out quality from all of its aspects. As a result, I intend to begin a cultural foundation that will link Irish culture to that of nations in the Middle east. As such, I aim to create connections by visiting and interacting with Irish Quality Assurance officers, sociologists, archeologists, museum directors, and anthropologists. During my time at the university, I will create a network of social groupings to study and analyze the best of Irish culture that I will then use in my work as a GOI-IES Alumni. I believe that the assistance provided by the GOI-IES scholarship will impart skills that will enhance my future ambitions and relations to the Irish people.
