my role as a leader
As a leader, it is my role to ensure the organization runs smoothly and all the goals and objectives set by the management are achieved within the stipulated time. I would not take my position within the organization for granted. Instead, I will inspire and motivate other employees to perform and surpass their capacity. In essence, leaders create opportunities to make a difference in the organization as well as promote individual careers for their subordinates (Cote, 2017). Being at the epicenter of decision-making and organizational strategic planning, the most significant aspect of my position is demonstrating excellent leadership qualities and being a role model for the rest of the employees. Indeed, leadership demands a lot from a person. As I continue to grow within my position, I strive to sharpen my leadership skills as well.
One leadership vision I uphold is to remain consistent with my leadership style, promote integrity, and communicate profoundly. Communication has been a critical component of leadership, and employees adore an informative leader. It is a leader`s role to continually inform the staff on the direction the organization is taking as well as key decisions and activities it plans to undertake. I will continue to invest my time in building a workforce that is effective and accountable. The re is power in collaboration and teamwork, and providing all the necessary resources is paramount to developing a workforce that exhibits efficiency.
More importantly, I strive to create a work environment that will encompass and embrace diversity and integrity to promote professionalism within the organization. Employees need to understand the impact of diversity on their professional careers, personal lives, and the organization as a whole. These statements align with how I envision my leadership style and my expectations as a leader. More so, I envision a workplace environment that portrays a unique culture and positive attitudes from all employees.
