Native people
Why is everyone so formal and concerned with the content they put on their website? It might be an awkward question, for I’m a content writer myself. Society may not accept me after this. But the fact is, seriously, there isn’t a thing to worry about while creating your content.
Your content is meant to talk to the readers, and so let it be. Your duty is to infuse life in your content, and that’s it. What’s so goddamn crazy about it? Oh, you must have thought that if you’re hiring a content writer to create a blog or web copy, they will stuff it with some crazy and hard to spell words and make it look like as if a native guy has written it.
But the reality is different. Native people tend to use easy words since they use English as their means of daily communication. And no one has got that fuckin time to hear words that makes them bumfuzzled, I mean Confused. That’s what you’ve got to understand before hiring a content writer.
Once you know that complex words aren’t the key to a breathtaking content, you should question yourself- “What for, am I giving money to the Content Writer?“ Don't use plagiarised sources.Get your custom essay just from $11/page
Of course, I’m not trying to say that you should fire your writer out of enthusiasm, but you have the right to know why you’re spending.
You’re actually spending on making your content talk. And a Content writer, after years of experience, achieves the skills to make the content speak for your brand.
Do you know what a salesman does? Have you ever spent an hour with any of them? I did, and here’s what I learned. There’s a Medical Representative who is one of the few guys I’ve seen in my life, who never left my father’s shop without selling even a pack of medicine. (My father’s got a retail medicine store by the way). Every single time my father used to tell me that the situation is tight for him, and he isn’t going to stock any more for the week. And at the very moment that MR used to enter our shop. He seemed to be relaxed and calm, was very, very jolly, and seemed to be in no hurry.
My father used to order some snacks for him, and from there, their chat kicked off. I used to stalk off usually since I’m not too fond of those boring elderly stuff. Total bullshit. But to my surprise, when the guy went away, I always found at least a box of medicine he left for my father. He just sold a large box to a person who was tight for the week!
Gradually I came to know about his sales technique. He never entered our shop with an intention to sell. He used to kick-off the conversation and swayed my father’s mind to some of the relatable incidents and achievements of his company. He used to tell him about some offers and finally provoked my father so so much that he couldn’t resist buying a large box!
Could you relate something now? If not, here is the ice-breaker: ‘Sell Value, not service or commodity,’ and sway your client’s mind from business to emotional events and eventually relate them to your service or products. And that’s the skill, you’re going to pay for in a writer.
Do you think you can do it? Of course, you can! You can manage a whole panel of employees and some high-class clients, and you believe this petty matter can make you bow down to it. Discard your thoughts. Embrace some confidence.
Content Industry is way broader than you can actually imagine it to be. Copywriting, Blog writing, Sales Pitch, sad bitch (oopsy that’s not under content writing but hey pitch and bitch make a rhythm right?) and what not! I’m not that capable of telling you all that in a go. I’ve hardly reached my mid-30s and still learning the hacks of email copywriting. (I mean seriously!)
But with the creation of 537 websites every single min…..
