Nursing ethical codes
Introduction
Nursing is a form of transformational change of life of personalities. It exists for the benefits of human being. Although there could be information which could not be clear about nursing, there has been a very big debate about the matters relating to the nursing in the United States of America (Brown et al, 2013). The issue about nursing is supposed to be total clear the individuals simply because it has to be there for the survival of the human being (Brown et al, 2013). The department of health should have effective leaders with required skills based on area of specialization. There are some challenges which occur in this field about who should decide for the treatment of the serious sick patient cannot make independent results (Brown et al, 2013). Following this factor, the paper will tackle some nursing barriers how they affect the field and which ways can they be solved out.
Less personal attachment to the relative and families
This has been very big barrier in the field of nursing. Nursing Career has got much of the commitment and lacks basic freedom which should exist between the nurses and their families (Dossey et al, 2012). Much of the nurses lack time to interact with their families which brings a lot distress and guilty to the families (Dossey et al, 2012). Those nurses find more distress and regret for choosing this field of specialization. It is issue so compromising since they cannot leave the dying patients to pay attention to their families since it sounds inhuman (Dossey et al, 2012).
How personal values relates to this barrier
In person and sense of human tells rings in the minds of nurses to make the patients suffer (Twycross, 2013). If it were not for the personal in values and principle, the nurses could have been leaving the patients dying in the bed and carry out their personal interest duties (Twycross, 2013). It is due strong relationship that exists between the nurses sense of human that they take strength to continue with their job (Twycross, 2013).
Benefits of this barrier
This is kind of beneficial type of the challenge which simply brings advantages to the patients (Brown et al, 2013). Nurses who are paying much attention to the patients who could be so suffering in bed make good choices since is one way of caring for persons live. This is kind of human character which should exist between human being for personal survival (Twycross, 2013). The nurses find them self suffering so much in this field of specialization but in one way they fill more appreciated seeing the survival of the patients (Brown et al, 2013).
How to overcome this distress
Nurses need more motivations and support as this will encourage them continues serving the patients despite the challenges which they could go through (Blais, 2015). They are supposed to consider themselves as giving service to people other than even being at work. The nurses should have self motivation although they suffer a lot due to time limitations (Blais, 2015). They are supposed to consider themselves as just the ones who were patients and take courage.
