Assignment guidelines: 1. Using our textbook as a guide choose a theorist and theory which most reflects your beliefs and values. 2. Using the KU online library to conduct a literature search; selecting articles from professional nursing peer reviewed journals (minimum 5-10 current articles). 3. Your paper should include: a. Introduction of the Theory i. Define the theory ii. Include the Theorists Major Assumptions b. Explain the Theorists Metaparadigm which includes the: i. Theories definition of Nursing ii. Theories definition of Person iii. Theories definition of Environment iv. Theories definition of Health 4. Provide an example of a research study based on implementation or use of this theory as a guiding framework ~ clinical use of the theory. 5.
