Some Like It Hot!
There are some scenes that stood out for me in this film, Some Like It Hot! Some of these would include the Spats Columbo scene. This was mainly because of the sudden surprise or turn of events that happens in the scene. In one minute, there is some big band music, and in the next minute, there are men seated around a coffin in the back of the car. The costumes used in this scene are very interesting. The use of black clothes and a coffin was good enough to make someone ask questions. The introduction of the police car as part of the props was huge since it boosted the mood of the viewers and increased their level of curiosity. One would certainly be interested in knowing whether there will be a police chase of how exactly the men would react. The question of whether the coffin had a body and whose body as well certainly became interesting issues. The viewer’s level of curiosity will surely increase, for one would like to know what is going on and why the coffin among many other questions. The fact that it quickly turns into a case of people being chased by the police is indeed tremendous.
Another interesting scene was the date night. The costumes in this scene are indeed interesting. The fact that “Junior” clothes are used in that Joe is seen wearing such clothes and is from the bath tab is indeed a huge thing because the sight is enough to make Jerry surprised. The idea of having these clothes and covered in the bubbles it makes it look like junior clothes indeed. The costumes, in this case, therefore, resemble the kind of things that would make someone wonder why and what is happening, which was indeed the case. If this movie was to be made today, I am convinced that it would still make sense to the people. The level of suspense in this movie is indeed epic. The fact that one cannot be even sure of how it is likely to end will give millions of people a reason to watch it. If the music in the background was to be addressed, then the movie would surely receive very positive feedback.
