Organizational theory
There are distinct considerations that translate to an in-depth understanding of an organization. Having a broader construct encompassing critical internal aspects of an organization such as the working environment/climate and employees’ experience at the place of work is vital in enabling one to understand a company’s progress (Zheng et al., 2010). Such concepts allow an individual to have a clearer understanding of the major factors dictating the progress of an organization. Arguably, the ideas are basic towards understanding the reasons behind the success or failure of an organization.
Organizational culture is one of the essential internal aspects whose consideration is fundamental towards enabling individuals to understand the progress of an organization. It reflects on the systems associated with values and beliefs, which are considered by all the employees when determining their operational decisions. Organizational culture is an essential factor influencing the ability of the management team to alter all the employees to work together, aiming at common goals, foster internal integration, and enhance performance hence the attainment of the desired functional objectives (Wambugu, 2014). Understanding organizational culture leads to the formulation of faultless operational decisions and policy frameworks, thus attaining the targeted outcomes.
The second concept that is basic as far as organizational performance is concerned is organizational climate. The idea is associated with the quality of an organization’s internal environment (Sunarsih, 2017). Organizational climate is experienced by the employees hence dictating the reasons why it is essential in influencing the levels of functional success attained. The adoption of a conducive corporate environment leads to job satisfaction and the provision of quality services. As such, the perfection by the management team to create a favorable organizational climate is essential towards facilitating the attainment of the set goals. This is because satisfied workers are motivated to work hard, align their working with the mission and vision statement, and cooperate towards a common goal.
