Supply Chain Intern

Role of the Position

The position is under the direct supervision of the supply chain and logistics manager. The position is responsible for managing supply chain operations of small and medium duties to support the programs of the organization

Main Duties

The intern is responsible for the procurement of essential commodities and services as well as monitoring the supply of organizational activities.

The intern participates in various programs in the region that help in providing advisory on the processes of supply and supply requirements.

The intern will work with the supervisor to maintain supply and availability plans and find out the available loan options for big supply chain companies such as Warburton.

The intern will conduct market research to find out the market need of the buyers and the strategies that manufactures have developed to use for distribution and supplying their commodities.

The intern will prepare reports on the supply status of various commodities and issue reviews on issues that need urgent attention if they exist.

The intern will also carry out any task, as asked by the supervisor.
