What three approaches to social media could the company benefit from? Why?
In order to increase its growth potential should invest in various social media approaches. As Macarthy (2018) explains, the company can use social media to sell its products and services. A sales approach can include the use of discounts, promotions, and coupons to increase sales of the company’s products.
The company can adopt social media to improve its customer service by providing the best experience. This is important considering that most consumers now prefer to hold their preferences in favor of updated from social media such as Twitter and Facebook.
Thirdly, Samsung can adopt social media to become a leading industry by positioning itself as a resource. The company can use social media as an effective conduit to pass information to its followers, fans, and customers. Providing essential information could translate into shares and follows, thus increasing traffic and sales.
What three approaches to social media would you consider using in your next job search? Why?
- One social media approach I would apply in my next job search is to network with professionals through sites such as LinkedIn. I would participate in professional organizations and join a business networking group.
- I would also load my CV on a website and engage professionals through blogs, among other professional activities.
- I will also initiate conversations with companies and individuals and engage with relevant organizations in the industry.
How can you use social media as a strategy in your next job search or career advancement?
Advancement in technology has made it almost impossible for individuals to succeed without an efficient application of social media (Kettunen, Vuorinen, & Sampson 2015). In order to advance in my career, I will ensure that I engage with relevant professionals on social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook. I will also update my user profile to appear professional and offer to provide services in order to increase my visibility to the potential employer.
