Problem Statements.
The hotel industry in the world is receiving fewer and fewer young people. Most hotels are complaining of a lack of clientele of people between the ages of twenty (20) to mid-thirty (30) years. This group of people makes the most significant percentage of the world’s population. The lack of this population in the hotel industry means they are not hitting their targets. The problem is a discovery-oriented decision problem. The problem statement is trying to understand and dig deeper into why young people are not involved in the hotelier industry.
Research Question
The research question in this qualitative research is the role of technology in the hotel industry for people between the age of twenty years and 40 years.
Informed consent.
The researcher of this study is requesting your consent for participation in research about the role of technology in the hotel industry for people between the age of twenty years and 40 years. The consent form is requesting you to allow the researcher to record and view the interview and use your comments to aid in the study of the topic. The form also requires your consent in taking photos related to this study. The questionnaire is even asking the interviewer of their preference to remain anonymous, or the interviewer can use their name in the reporting stage. The participant has the right to withdraw their consent in the participation of the questionnaire and any given point in time. The interviewee may choose what questions to answer and what they will not answer.
The researcher also agrees to maintain the confidentiality of the research and destroy all the collected data in three months’ time after the compilation of the report. In the submission of this form, you are accepting that you have read all the description of the study and that you are eighteen (18) years and above. This form also means that you have read and agreed to all the terms described above.
