Nurses have essential roles in Healthcare facilities. These responsibilities include serving as a communicator, holistic caregiver, instructor specialist and a researcher (Pickles, Lacey & King 2019). The main aim of any intervention is to ensure individuals have adequate care and their families are well-informed. Additionally, it is the role of nurse practitioners to consider cultural competency even as adjustments are made while handling specific conditions.
The nursing code of ethics serves as a confirmation of ethical obligation. Similarly, it serves as a professional non-negotiable standard, and as an expression of understanding about the requirements of the profession. According to Tluczek et al., (2019), the four principal codes of include autonomy, non-maleficence, justice and beneficence. The laws of ethics serve as a measure used to access and also ensures equal treatment for all patients. Health is an integral part of populations, and therefore, nurses are expected to adhere to these codes of ethics at all times during their professional life.
