Promotion and integrated marketing communication.”
Promotion is a form of communication between the buyer and the seller. The seller tries to convince the buyer to purchase his goods or services. It creates awareness about the existence of a company and the type of services or goods it sells. It builds the image of a company and helps to develop the interest of customers. Integrated marketing communication can be described as a combination of a variety of different communication methods to deliver a common message.
To promote our cyber cafe, we will use different methods of promotion. When we first introduce our cyber cafe, we will use sales promotion to present ourselves in the business. Sales promotion is where a new company tries to lure customers by reducing the prices of goods and services. For example, we may start by offering free coffee to customers who come to use our services. Lowering rates will help us introduce our business to people.
The second method that we would use to persuade our customers to come again for our services is direct marketing. It is a method where customers communicate directly with their customers. We would achieve through inscribing advertisement messages in the cups of coffee. For instance, we would write, fast, and cheap internet connection available. We would also ask the customers to subscribe to our email address so that we would always notify them about our services. Our computers would also have a welcoming message whenever our customers turn them on. For example, they, ”thank you for choosing us; we expect you back.”
The third method that we would use is the digital marketing method. We would create a website that customers would visit. It would describe the location of our location, the services of our cyber café, the foods present, and a welcoming message. The link would be shared on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
The combination of the three methods of marketing will persuade our customers to visit us more often.
