qualities in me

Once after studying for 6 years (bachelors and masters), I could say that I have intellectual ability to handle studies and fulfill the desired outcome. These 6 years of professional practice along with education was a roller coaster ride with all due fun and stress managed adequately. This ability has been marked with high level of competence and aptitude in health professional. After post-graduation I realized this is still not the end, I would want to strive for further education and gain knowledge about my field in depth, this attitude throws light on my Intellectual Curiosity nature. Learning never stops, however old you grow is what I truly believe and try to practice in true sense.[unique_solution]
There were situations and scenarios in professional practice when colleague or professors had different schools of thoughts ranging from which manipulation technique would be best suitable for particular patient to bronchial hygiene, I used to welcome those ideas or thoughts with open mind by respecting other people’s point of view and stating my argument for the same before drawing any conclusions. I realize that having rigid thoughts or believing I am the master of all jacks doesn’t help you grow. It’s like a frog in pond who has no idea about the outside world.
Thinking out of the box is something that attracts me the most. Not just following universal standard guidelines but also trying to connect it with evidence based practice is what I believe the most creative way of treating patients. In future, I would like to use this quality of creativity by addressing issues not just by theoretical knowledge but also clinical experience and evidence based research practice.
Teaching is my passion. Back then teaching Math to class X student who could not cope up in classes to tutoring needy kids after school through an NGO (Non-Governmental organization) gave me immense pleasure. Graduating in government set up taught me how economically backward class had limited amenities to pull off with the treatment. I organized physiotherapy camps in my neighborhood. I was concerned mainly about geriatric age group when every other day I overheard they falling due to loss of balance on uneven surface. I did not sympathize with my patients’ pain or problems but instead looked upon it empathetically. In future, I would want to continue doing the same as humanity comes above all and integrating my spiritual values into clinical practice is the best way I can give back to society.
I was assigned a task in the name of bioethics day. To get the hang of subject I had to search many references, I found the topic very dry in the start, but eventually I realized how not only important but interesting it was. After dozens of rough draft, I could write an introductory lecture on it. Sticking to a task until its completed and making it worth for all to listen is what made me realize yet another quality of mine i.e. diligence/persistence.
