Research Question
The purpose of this study is to discover, understand and give an analysis of conflict management at a non-profit organization in San Francisco, on their readiness for low-income jobs. In response to these question, after an examination of my field notes, I noticed the following themes were vital in the non-profit organization; time and conflict management. The reason for my choice of question is the number of participants who responded to the question of conflict management.
Interview Guide
The group is made up of mixed people in terms of ages, race and ethnic background. All the participants seemed to have encountered a situation where they were conflicted in one way or the other except for two who chose not to participate. Even though they all reacted positively, they somehow wanted to respond in the opposite direction.
The main aim of the interview is to understand the number of people that have ever been to a situation of conflict and how they reacted and dealt with it. I am trying to understand how different people in the group deal with conflict when they find themselves in such a situation. Different people had mixed reactions, for example, one of the people in the group believed that people out there are walking around with mental illnesses that no one knows about hence the reason why it is essential to maintain calmness in a situation of conflict. The participants all seemed not to be sure at first about the forum, but they later got comfortable after realizing that there was no harm in whatever was going to take place.
