This is a great topic because these days’ money seems to be ruling the sporting industry.
In the effects of money on athletes’ performance, he states that money nowadays is the most crucial thing over the player performances. Athletes these days place themselves above the team by trying to outperform their teammates to have proper contracts or higher market value. These monetary incentives related to performance thus shows that sport is no longer about the love of the game but a financial opportunity.

Furthermore, there is a steep rise in using drugs to improve performance by athletes, which is one of the adverse effects of money. In conclusion, too many these days’ love is not the dominant thing in sport but money; thus, everyone in games has to deal with both the negative and positive effects of money.
