I agree with the statement that literary texts tell us about life, its possibilities as well as limits that the majority of us would never dream of treading. One lesson I learned from the article. One thing I learned from the article is the trait of being caring, as demonstrated by Mitch when he reminded Stanley that he had to care for his sick mother.
Question 2
I believe that at the end, Blanche left with everyone’s guilt resting on her shoulders. The author stated that getting away with Blanche was a way by the other characters to wash away their guilt. For example, Stanley stated that without Blanche, he would not have acknowledged the rape case.

In my opinion, it is wrong to alter the work of someone else may not promote moral integrity in the society and hence likely to meet with strong opposition. For instance, Kazan had to face strong opposition from the censorship board of the Motion Picture Industry and the members of the Legion of Decency who questioned the moral concept of the altered work.
Question 2
In my opinion, the author’s statement about offence and frustration is fair because of the author talks of offending the innocent, something that frustrates the intelligent. In reality, the innocent should not be offended, and that’s why in countries with developed democracies, the intelligent would mind the offence of the innocent.
