Thank you for your sincere response to the subject of scholarly articles.

The articles I provided as references for this assignment were both obtained from the internet and only served to illustrate the various features of a scholarly source. They were used as tools of comparison for the many articles found within the Walden library on Behavioral Healthcare and those found on the internet on the same subject. Their intended purpose was not to talk about Behavioral Healthcare but to help me distinguish between scholarly and non-scholarly articles. Daniels, J., & Thistlethwaite, P. (2018) discusses the impacts of being scholarly in this digital era while Sahle, P. (2017) attempts to describe what an academic digital edition is, its theories and practices.

The keywords that I used for this topic searches were what a scholarly source is, the characteristics of an academic source, and how to differentiate between a scholarly and non-scholarly source. With these keywords, I was able to do numerous comparisons of articles from the Walden library and those I obtained from the internet searches relating to BHM and made conclusions as to whether they were scholarly or non-scholarly. However, I was able to identify several scholarly sources on BHM from the Walden library. Congdon (2010) measures the effectiveness of mental health in infants, case management for dependency populations. This is an example of a scholarly article since it satisfies all the requirements for such a report..
