In table 69, representing that percentage of high school students who ever had sex before the age of 13 years, it is right to establish that the percentage of the white race is more elevated than Hispanic and African-Americans. Moreover, it can be developed that male gender among whites has a higher percentage than females. Still, for Hispanic and blacks, the female gender surpasses males in having sexual intercourse before 13 years. The trend of the high school students that have ever had sex, table 70 among the states of US reveals that West Virginia has the highest rates at 49% and New York lowest rates at 29.6% among females (MMWR, 2016). However, the overall trend portrays Mississippi is leading at 48.0%. The pattern on the students that had sex before the age of 13 years indicates that Mississippi state has the highest rates at 8.3%.
The trends indicating on the race that has had sexual behavior with more than one person and are currently sexually active, table 71 reveals that blacks are more initiated in the behavior. Moreover, grade 12 students have a higher tendency to show behavior. Furthermore, it is indicated that among the high school students, females have a higher tendency than males. The trends on the high school students who avert from the use of any pregnancy control method and engaged in alcohol before last having sex, table 79, prevails Hispanic race with highest and whites lowest. Moreover, male gender surpasses females in this behavior Grade 12 students indicated the highest rates of the behavior.
On table 109, the trend on the students who engage in watching and playing video games more than three hours indicate that Hispanic race has higher rates in terms of video games whereas the black race spends more time in watching TV. Moreover, grade 9 students portrayed a higher percentage of playing video games as compared to others. Males generally had higher rates than females in this specific trend. It is thus apparent that family and social class contributes immensely to the generation of the particular patterns that are portrayed in the tables.
