Roles I Occupied in a Given Week
I have been occupied by several roles in the past one week. These roles have assisted me in designing a new product for cleaning clothes using organic soaps. The first significant role involves designing the new soap as a product for cleaning. In the same week, I participated in educating the society on the need to use organic products to reduce impacts associated with the use of chemical products.
Developing a Personal Mission Statement
The best approach to use when drafting a personal mission statement is to accommodate recommendations made by Covey (Covey, 2015). The following steps apply to a personal mission statement.
My Past Successes
I have previously managed to design and develop new products using organic materials. Secondly, I have worked with a team of innovators in developing a positioning statement for this product. I also contributed to a community program to prevent environmental pollution by recycling wastes.
My Core Values
Problem-solving, innovative, creative, hard-working, decision-maker, analytical, and industrious.
Identity Contributions
The local community: To use my skills in designing products from waste materials to prevent environmental pollution.
The globe in general: To design and develop products that assist people by reducing the side effects of chemical substances.
Identify Goals
My short-term goal is to continue with my innovation as a product designer by using my values, talent, and skills to develop new products. The long-term goal involves educating other people in society how to design new products by using available raw materials.
Mission Statement
To embrace my skills and values to transform society through compassion and honesty by developing organic products and sensitizing people the importance of conserving the environment, thereby preventing climate change.
