Geofencing can be significant to the logistic manager of a company to keep track of the drivers of the trucks, and thus their activities can be shown if the speed that driver uses, whether or not the driver is in the wheel and route that the driver takes can be traced. This will reduce the cases of laxity among the drivers, which is the case when the drivers are not monitored. Some drivers may be tempted to collude with robbers to rob the products on transit when the old technology is in use. The geofencing technology, however, shows all the activities that happen in and around the trucks. The technology brings many benefits to the logistics management sector and thus, it should be embraced.
