I would explain briefly and precisely to the professor the situation that caused me not to meet the assignment due date and acknowledge my mistake. If the lecture accepts and grants me an extension, I will put extra effort and turn in quality work. If penalized, I will not be upset by the professor, and finally, I will not be late again and show effort all through in my subsequent assignments.
If I participated in a lecture in China, it would be a little bit different due to time differences and lesson plans for my lectures.
If the professor disagrees with me changing my thesis, I will accept it; thus I will not take a step and change my thesis. I will consider this as an opportunity for mentorship and coaching from my thesis supervisor. However, I will question him/her politely concerning why he/she disagrees with me in changing my thesis so that he/she can explain to me clearly.
I don’t mind if my teacher admits that he/she doesn’t know the answer to a question I asked. Every teacher has his/her capabilities; however, the teacher should take this as an opportunity for class participation and guide in exploring such questions (McCallum & Price, 2010).
The Japanese governments’ actions toward the Princess Cruise ship were commendable work in terms of protecting its citizens against the covid-19 virus and taking care of guests and crew on board the ship. It was a decisive action to delay the turnaround of the ship to allow the Japan Ministry of Health to review the health status of all crew and guests on board, and that was precisely done. And when the first phase of screening was complete, ten people tested positive for Covid-19, and they transported by the Japanese Cost guard to local hospitals to be cared for by the Japanese medical stuff (The Washington Post). As the screening process continued, the ship remained under quarantine, and all on board were provided with all the essentials including a telephone, internet, and human resources by the Japanese government until the disembarkation of the guest and crew was complete (Diamond Princess Updates).
GE’s company culture based on U.A and the 4 Hofstede indexes is that the company centrally places its focus on making sure that the customers’ needs are addressed as per industrial and technological trends. Therefore the company is customer-centric. The company’s leanness allows for effective management and operational excellence. Moreover, the company has a culture of continually improving the capabilities of its employees to be competitive (Onatolu, 2013).
