SMART PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES FOR DELIVERY DRIVER

Responsibility one objective

The training needs require consistency and competence in work maintained and improved every dawn. As a delivery driver, the most critical asset is the vehicle and thus the need to give more priority to its care (Bjerke & Renger, 2017).  With a well-scheduled maintenance approach, the driver ensures that there is better engine performance through continually adhering to its needs. Significantly, the driver would be required to maintain his daily schedules by creating a better machine to move the deliveries. Weekly check-up of the engine oil, ensuring standard functionality of all possible wear and tear parts for lubrication. And ensuring that each time the vehicle moves a delivery, a better protocol gets observed to successfully enable him to maintain a continuous delivery and avoid any breakdown from the car he uses.

Responsibility two objective

The process of delivery would be quite complicated. As a matter of ensuring the success of duties, the driver should be in a position to attend monthly workshops in managing hazardous chemicals as a way of creating more awareness of him. The knowledge acquired would be used in times of needs as dangers on encounters arise, the driver should be smart enough to understand the protocols ensuring the safety of both the vehicle and the people involved. Additionally, the objective would contain the reporting aspect which the driver will continually produce in a way to improve the working conditions under his responsibilities.

Responsibility three objective

Technical responsibility for the driver to master and effectively execute and which is accompanied by several goals to deliver. The biggest question would be where to get the time to train with the other departments.  However, tasked with all this, the most vital objective to achieve would be getting along with the different colleagues in the departments assigned. Ensuring the best interaction and improving timely schedules in getting the assignments done within these departments would help the driver get a better understanding of the responsibility at hand.
