Introduction

Technological advancement has led to the transformation of today’s modern world in different aspects of life. In all sectors such as the healthcare and education sector have benefited from the technological advancement since it has facilitated long term learning and quality improvement. Technology advancement also helps to switch the main focus from acquiring skills to practically applying the acquired skills. Scalable, cheaper, faster and better opportunities and solutions for sustainable development are offered by technology advancement. Due to the rapid changes that the technological landscape is facing, past technologies that were popularly used in the previous years have faced extinction today as a result of advancement in technology. As a new technological discovery is made, it leads to the extinction of another technology that on use at that time. Despite the huge steps that have been taken in technological advancement and innovation, many countries in the world are still faced with the challenges of adapting to the new technological demands of the current world.

This paper aims at providing a solution to the technological problems faced in the United States of America by providing a proposal plan and how the plan will be excited to help reduce the challenges faced in technological advancement in the US today. A step by step description of how the plan will be carried out, the targeted audience that the issue will address. Lastly, a counterargument to the plan is also provided in this paper.

Proposal Plan

My plan in this part proposal is to determine the negative impacts of technological advancement in the U.S and thereafter provide relevant and effective solutions to the problems that may arise as a result of technological advancement. Despite the investments that have been in US towards technological advancement, the country still faces a troubling gap that exits between their ability to put the project into work effectively and the value and cost of developing the technology. Without the implementation of technology together with competent administration of projects, an organization may experience a different set of technological challenges. Innovation developments, skills, knowledge and experience that most project administrators have enables them to appropriately shepherd a new technological advancement or innovation in an organization. Many organizations have also faced the difficulty of implement new projects that are related to a new technological advancement. Therefore, the approaches and strategies that most organizations in the US can apply to overcome these challenges are provided in this part of the paper.

First, the motivation behind the technological advancement should be identified in that it should be designed in a manner that enables it to disrupt its current field in a positive and beneficial way (Yaqoob, et al, 2017). Important information concerning the technological advancement that will be implemented should be shared with the public through social media platforms or through public campaigns. This will enhance the flow of relevant information form the public to the project implementers regarding the impacts of the technological advancement to the community. Openness and transparency during research and implementation of the projects will also help inform the users on the benefits and the risks associated with the new technological advancement. For instance, in hospitals, patients should be well informed of any new technological advancement that will be used in the treatment of certain conditions in patients since they are the key players who will be affected by the technological advancement either positively or negatively.

The party in charge of implementing the new technology should have their own competent and reliable project endorsers. These endorsers should be in every level in which the project is going to be implemented. The role of these project endorsers should be to spear head the project and talk positively about the project the affected community and the key parties and players in the project. They are also responsible for gathering and analyzing any relevant information concerning the project hence enhancing free flow of information from one relevant party to another. Members of the general public should be part of this endorsement team since they represent the peoples’ view on the technological advancement in terms of both its benefits and its negative implications. Before any project is launched in a certain area in the US, the people and relevant stakeholders in the area should first be educated on the important aspects of the project and all the possible risks associated with the project and how to deal with the risks and challenges that may arise in the course of project implementation. Through openness, inclusivity and diversity, technological advancement will be successful since it will instill ownership to the to the project among the affected parties especially the general public.

Project implementers in the US should also ensure that they host effective training sessions to train the people on how to use and support the new project. Most beneficial technological projects have failed in the US due to lack of sufficient training on how to use the projects and how the projects work. Training sessions will also enable the stakeholders to get the views the people on the project before implementation which will enable them to make any necessary rectifications or adjustments to the project to suit the needs of the public. These training sessions will also help equip most people with the necessary knowledge and skills that they require to ensure the project becomes beneficial to everyone as per the goals and objectives of the project. Training sessions also help to reduce or eradicate the possible fears that the people may be having towards a certain project to be implemented.

Another strategy to help deal with the problems associated with technological advancement and success in the project is through patience when implementing the project. Since technology advancement is a complex process which requires a lot of time, knowledge, skills and experience, the stakeholders in charge of implementing the project should not rush the process since it can impose negative impacts to the key players that will be involved. Most companies in the US have been found to be speeding up the process of implementing projects with the aim and anxiety of immediately benefiting from the projects in terms of profits and other gains without analyzing and evaluating the project appropriately. Before implementing a project, a critical analysis and evaluation of all the relevant aspects of the project should be conducted to identify the strengths and the weaknesses that the project has by pointing out the areas in which the project has not addressed.

Undertaking due diligence is another strategy that can be used during the implementation of the project (Triantis and John, 2018). This involves an in-depth analysis of the project such as analyzing the cash whether it is healthy or not. This also helps to determine whether the project is reliable or not by identifying the key area that the project was to address and whether the project will indeed help to address the issue. The size of the market or the total pollution that will benefit from the project is also assessed by undertaking due diligence to determine the exact population in which the project will affect. Since technological advancement is a competitive subject in todays world, most companies should undertake due diligence to determine the new competitors in the market. Due diligence also enables the project implementers to closely work with the people affected by the project to avoid any push backs. The rights and liabilities of the participants that are within the project scope are assessed and determined through legal due diligence. The party involved in the implementation of the project is should appoint an independent legal counsel to help conduct a legal due diligence on behalf of the project implementers.

If the above strategies are put in effect, most projects on technology advancement will be successful in that they will achieve both short- and long-term goals. Furthermore, all the risks associated with new technology projects will also be eradicated since the above steps will facilitate the process of risk assessment to identify the hazards associated with the project. Through community empowerment facilitated by the strategies above, the project will get enough support from the public hence ensuring that the project becomes beneficial and successful in the end. These strategies will also help the project adapt to the changing conditions in the technology sector that arises as a result of too much competition. Since most research projects are also meant for profit making despite benefiting the participants, implementing the above strategies will help the project gain more benefits by ensuring that it realizes a steady and healthy cash flow.

Despite the above strategies being beneficial to the project itself and the parties involved, these strategies also have a negative implication on the project. For instance, the above strategies advocates for public inclusivity in the implementation of the projects yet this will lead to disclosure of information to the competitors in the market who may take advantage of the situation. Furthermore, this process takes a lot of time and resources which would have otherwise been channeled to the other meaningful aspects of the project since most people do not have enough knowledge on the different projects that are to be implement due to low literacy levels among most individuals and other related contributing factors.

Conclusion

In conclusion, technological advancement has been beneficial to all the sectors in the US since it has facilitated many processes and activities. Research and innovation has also played a major role in the development of new technological models and in the advancement of the new technology to ensures that it serves the citizens appropriately by adapting to the new changes in the current world. Therefore, students in schools should also be educated and encouraged on how to embrace new technology in a more beneficial manner. Lastly, the government and other relevant agencies should support technological advancement by enhancing research and innovation and by providing financial support to these projects.
