There are various instances when we interact with people. Every person in our relationship circles needs a kind of attention. This anticipation yields a bond, a connection and this culminates to a reciprocal link. Such links are developed only for fellow human but also for objects.

Moreover, connections are used by people and objects to speculate mutual association. Therefore, we expect love between objects, people, and so on. People like clothes that fit them, and as well, furniture is crafted in ways that enhance efficient joinery, making sides to match each other. The world is made up of these reflections because evidence of such associations is visible everywhere, both in objects and human beings. In other instances, people like to associate themselves with particular people and objects. We develop appetite towards specific things such as scenery, designs, and decorations, and so on. Individuals also like to attach themselves to some people, and this implies that they don’t want to connect themselves with different ones.

Most importantly, we can see individuals developing particular choices in life. When one is making a choice, he selects one thing and leaves the other. This reflects the existence of two kinds of associations in such a phenomenon. Firstly, one’s preference, for one thing, depicts that he needs to relate to one thing as opposed to another. Secondly, the rejected aspect in the choice process implies that one doesn’t want to be associated with that particular thing. Therefore, love is a choice because it enables people and objects to be bound toward specific aspects. The matter is defined as anything that is tangible and occupies space. Each aspect of the matter is made up of certain things, whereby removal of one component destruct the entire object as it is not “whole” again because it is minus some elements. We can reflect this in the analogy of salt. If we remove calcium from salt, we mess up with the whole salt, and it is not salt again. It can’t taste like ideal salt. This reflects that there is a bond which if detracted; the wholeness of that particular aspect is destroyed. Love magnifies these traits. Love is a link, a bond and a mutual connect which manifests itself in terms of choices. In the environment, salt cannot remove the element of calcium to replace it with carbon and remain to be salt. Love is thus a force identical to the composition of matter.

Therefore, love is a force that binds particular things and people together so that they can be “whole”. In this scenario, we comprehend love as a force that enhances wholeness. It is easy to note this, both in romance and other forms of associations. If one part isn’t present, then there is no love anymore. Love is a force that enhances wholeness. The desire for wholeness is manifested in various instances. People love each other, love friends; love neighbours …love certain things, and so on. This also happens between the ones we regard as our neighbours. Quality love is a force that enhances completeness, wholeness, and in such a process, various objects in the environment complement each other.

In conclusion, love is a bond, a force of cohesion in the perspective of kinship ties and adhesion in reflecting from the other love of our neighbours. God prescribes love because, via it, people and objects complement each other beneficial ways, thus making life meaningful ad preserving its sanctity.
