In the concept of games, a situation where none of the participants loses creates a nonzero game. This means that the gain of one participant does not lead to the loss of the other. Thus, the benefits and injuries do not sum up to zero. An example of this game is trade. In trade the seller and the buy gets an opportunity to improve their services and positions. However, in zero games, the total of prizes are fixed and any alteration leads to benefit one party at the expense of the other. Another example of a zero game is poker. Poker is a zero game where the suitor competes for the same mate. There is little to be from zero game but the players always have a better chance for cooperating amongst themselves rather than focusing on their own individual interests. Human life is very competitive and full of nonzero-sum scenarios. Competition creates the importance of cooperation in the society. Participation in society enhances synergy among its members, which them to compete effectively with other communities. This paper will discuss how technological creativity helps to achieve nonzero-sum games in society using the guidance from the logic of human destiny; nonzero.

In logic of human destiny, the writer Robert Wright states that benefits from nonzero activities are the motivating factor that drives human history. He explains that the profits resulting from nonzero transactions are inevitable because living things do evolve, and their primary function would be to capitalize on the gains from nonzero trading activities (Ruhl and Salzman 143). Thus, in return, the living creatures, human, will develop social, cultural, and legal groups whose core goals is to maximize profit from the trade.

The logic of human destiny has three essential parts, which explains the theme of nonzero trade to the path of human history. The evolution of human being is highly connected to the creation of technologies like the money, writing and printing. All these technologies are developed to enhance the benefits from trade. Using the Darwinian theory of selection in social groups, wright states that once useful technology is invented, nonzero game trade activities grows immensely. Social beings are obliged to participate in nonzero-sum businesses. Technology enhances interactions such as division of labor and spread of knowledge through training on various skills and trade techniques (Yang et al. 82910) The information which forms part of technology is crucial in the nonzero-sum trade. This is because the stock of information does not reduce when people use it compared to other physicals resources.

Information technologies become useful and valuable when more people use it. It is possible to make available information to a considerable group of people once it is discovered. Social groups, through non-zero-sum activities, become strong and develop due to the spread of new information technologies. This development of social groups results from technological innovation of agriculture, money, and printing—the use of the internet powers the future of strong social beings. Internet is a data processing device which can continuously coordinate info from different social groups (Zhang, Qichao and Zhao 2875).

The internet drives the enormous expansion of nonzero-sum businesses up to the global level. Progressive political groups are used in the creation of terms and conditions for nonzero-sum firms.  Through technology, reliable and effective political systems are developed with the scope of the benefits from nonzero-sum activities. Therefore, the development of the global government to manage the expectations of a global economy can only be facilitated through global information transmission, which is possible because of the internet.

A situation that leads to a net gain or loss to the system based on the results of a game is a nonzero-sum trade. An example of a non-zero-sum game is a competition between a pirate and a trade ship business. The victory of the pirate ship business activity may have led to the gain of the resources, men, and the wealth, where the win of trade ship business activity would lead to the defeat of the race by the pirate. At this point, the gain and loss of the competing parties do not have much effect. Another example can be seen in the financial market business. The competing organizations can agree to work together to expand the size of their industry. Big industries create awareness of the existence of their products and services to the public. The creation of a large firm increases confidence in the industry (Ruhl and Salzman 145). The result of big companies is profit maximization for all competitors, and thus the competing will benefit from collaborating. However, non- zero games do not always create positive results but adverse outcomes too.  For instance, in the previous example, the pirate wins, and it was a negative outcome for the whole system.

Therefore, technology has played a crucial role in nonzero transactions. Through the internet global trade is enabled. Gains from nonzero game trade strengthens social tie through cooperation and unity of different social groups. In the book of the logic of human destiny- non zero, wright has shown that acknowledging the potential and possibilities of a nonzero game transaction is a compelling way in which the social groups develop.
