In  Transformational theory, a leader controls the whole group by giving the objectives, motivates and energizes the followers, and helping other members individually.  In path-goal leadership, an effective leader usually provides a path to be followed by all the followers. They aim to help, support, and motivate all members. In both theories, leaders create achievable goals for their followers. In path-goal leadership theory, the decision of a leader goes to subordinates’ motivation and overall work morale, while in transformational leadership,  leaders’ motivation can have a direct effect on both followers and organization as well.

In conclusion, the leadership theories to be used in an organization should be determined by the state of the members in academics and experience and its applicability. The members have to choose the best leadership theory that will favor them individually, based on their conditions.
