The mission of Boeing company is – ‘People working together as a global enterprise for aerospace industry leadership.’

Assessment: The mission statement of the Boeing company depicts that the company is aiming to become a global enterprise instead of being only domestic. It has planned to lead the aerospace industry across the globe building an international team. The object of the team members should be to achieve a common goal of establishing the company as the leading aerospace company.

The vision statement of Boeing- ‘An expression of our company’s purpose and values, designed  to inspire and focus all employees on a shared future and to reaffirm that, together, we can meet the challenges that lie ahead.’

Assessment:  the company has planned to maintain organizational value by respecting all its stakeholders, shareholders and customers. Boeing has designed to inspire its employees to work for both the individual and team betterment. A teamwork culture has been employed to manage all the challenges to reach success.

The current goal of Boeing is to achieve not to emit any green =house gas by reducing the standard to zero-emission.

Assessment: Boeing has planned to maintain a more socially responsible attitude to reduce the carbon emission for the betterment of the environment. Improvement of the environment by 2025 is the ultimate aim of the company to meet zero carbon emission.
