The new world was the Americas and the lands that made it up. There were several groups of people who moved into the new world, driven by particular intentions such as finding areas to farm. Some of the people included the Olmec, who were huge people known for carving giant heads, The Maya and the Aztec. The groups were lead to the new nation bu factors such as the collapse of their governments and empires and other factors such as famine and drought. Some of them were brought to the new land due to their economic activities, such as trade, as seen in the case of the Olmecs, who were the first Americans. Thie paper is an analysis of the people who traveled into the New world between 1585 and 1630, taking into consideration the reasons for their movement.

The first group was the Jamestown Settlers, who were comprised of 104 men and boys who chose to settle in the new world and named It Jamestown after King James I. In that span, a group of pilgrims from mayflower also moved into the new world despite the harsh times at sea. The ship had to turn back twice due to issues with the speedwell, but they finally got to the new world. They, too, settled in Jamestown. The other group that came in was the English Puritans, who came in the 1620s. They were a group of settlers who were controlled by religious leaders. Thye had escaped England due to discrimination of their religion. They managed to settle in the Plymouth colony where they could practice religion without fear and find investors to support them. The group was one of the most recognized in history, as seen in a memorial in Immingham, which marled the point of departure of the pilgrims from England. They had a similar faith to the puritans who they found in the new world and shared some religious beliefs. They, however, differed in religious ceremonies since they had come from different areas, and various activities were carried out in the name of religion.

The main reason for the movement of the mentioned groups of people was in search of new land and territory which they could conquer and settle in. In their previous homes, they were not comfortable and needed more land. Apart from that, the groups were influenced by the law in their land. AS seen n the case of the puritans, their previous homes were filled with religious discrimination, and they needed to practice their religion without judgment. They, therefore, left their homes and went to a place that was not In the Jurisdiction of their oppressors. They also wanted freedom from the British rule. In this time, the main objective of the English government was to increase its boundaries and have more control over larger areas. The settlers, on the other hand, wanted freedom, and the only way they could get this was moving away from the areas controlled by the British.

In conclusion, the ]re were many reasons to move to the new world, but the main one was in search of new territory and seeking freedom from the rule of colonizers. Freedom came in many forms, such as religious activity and free will to do whatever they pleased without having to follow orders.
