Understanding Business Sustainability
In the current technological world, businesses have gone international from e-commerce to online money transfer services. To achieve organizational goals and objectives, companies should have to obtain employees from diverse environments. Making this strategy comes with improving the interaction of people from different places. In applying this strategy, an organization achieves development policies, communicates the vision of the organization quickly, empower employees in a different culture, and evaluate diversity strategies. Successful organizations understand that workplace diversity is not merely the responsibility of the human resources department (Yang & Bacouel-Jentjens, 2018). A successful organization holds its leaders and managers responsible for incorporating their policies and aligning employees with the company’s mission and vision regarding diversity. Therefore operating in a global environment not only increases an organization’s scope of business but also promotes the life of people in diverse cultures. Culture is a set of attitudes, beliefs, behaviors, and customs. Members of a community teach one another these learned cultural cues so that it becomes an ingrained, accepted part of their society. Common cultural elements include social structure, language, religion, and communication (Good & Thorpe, 2019). Understanding cultural diversity in business helps management and employees to freely in achieving organizational goals. It helps in the management of human resources based on different cultural environments. It promotes excellent communication in an organization and delivers a good understanding of operations in organizations. Managers would be able to understand the relationship of people in different environments. Having a clear understanding affects the way people think in the business and help people to communicate understandably in various business environments. HT and line partners ensure effectiveness by following the features of different cultures to assist in managing employees’ inefficient way.
