The World Health Organization (WHO) said on Tuesday, 24, that the United States could become the new epicenter of the coronavirus pandemic , amid a “great acceleration” in the number of cases.
In the last 24 hours, 40% of new cases of Covid-19 have been registered in American territory, according to the WHO. At a press conference, the organization’s spokeswoman, Margaret Harris, was asked about the possibility of the United States becoming the new epicenter of the disease.

A section of state and local officials have complained over lack of coordinated federal action amid the swiftly spreading coronavirus. They opine that by leaving the localities act on their own puts them in competition for supplies against other states as well as the municipalities, the US government as well as other countries.
Reactivating the economy
