US Declaring War on GB in 1812
Reason for declaring the war
In 1812, the United States of America staged a war against Britain’s since Britain’s were fighting against the warships and gun bouts of America which were operating between the waters of France and Britain. To defend those operations, they already staged a coup before they could respond to the orders against the neutral trade of the United States. As such, the response comes after Britain changed its government. The Britain government was fighting the defensive power of Canada against the United States with the advantage of its powerful royal navy. The United States of America had numerous gunboats and warships to face the powerful royal navy from Britain which was the dominant force in the world. Most of the American from southern, western and Mid-Atlantic States supported the war.
The political influence of the war
As a result of that war, Britain’s set fire to the capitol building and the two united states commanders went to the white house with the same objective. Before setting the fire Cockburn, the president took the seat from one of the dolly Madison chairs. He took a glass of wine and toasted the immunity of President Jimmy. The war made President Madison flee the white house to cross the Potomac River towards his home in Virginia. These were due to fear of the powerful navy from Britain. The British later burned the public buildings. In my trust, it was possible for Britain to stop the war by giving some response to the United States whether the operation of trade between France and Britain could continue or not before they could declare the war.
